Hailed as “a funny foul-mouthed female Noel Coward” by the Orlando Weekly, Gwen Coburn presents her audience with dark feminist comedy in “Sad Girl Songs: A Comedy Show.” Satirical songs with titles like "Daddy Issues Boyfriend" and "Thank You For Not Murdering Me" are woven together with real life Bumble profiles, questions about self-defense classes, and the misleading story of Medusa in this "hilarious and harrowing" musical.  Sad Girl Songs has toured across North America winning multiple awards, including Best Musical at Winnipeg Fringe and an honor for Artistic Risk at Vancouver Fringe.

"[...] This may be the saddest comedy at the Festival, but it’s also a boldly brave work..." - Seth Kubersky, Orlando Weekly

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1/2 stars "[...] a whip-smart autobiographical musical comedy about when ‘#YesAnd becomes #MeToo.’" - Jen Zoratti, Winnipeg Free Press
